I’ve stayed here since Covid and it’s been a great experience every time. Andre and the staff are amazing, the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, the location feels safe, and there’s a hot breakfast. Customer service is ALWAYS wonderful. 10 out of 10!

The personal attention from the front desk team made this trip memorable. Judy and Andre were genuinely friendly, checked whether I needed anything, and even asked each day how my son’s lacrosse games went. Lee in the breakfast area was warm and made mornings feel welcoming, too. The hotel was spotless, and the room and beds were very comfortable after long days at the fields. I had a fantastic stay while in Williamsburg for the tournament, and I’d choose this hotel again next time we’re in town.

Aside from one upsetting interaction, we had a nice stay, and the rest of the staff were professional. An older, balding man who I assume worked there told my daughter to stop making noises before quiet time. I explained that she has Tourette’s and can’t control her tics, then walked away. He didn’t apologize at all and didn’t seem suited to dealing with customers.

We’ve stayed here many times without problems, but after this visit I won’t return. My child first saw two roaches in the bathroom and screamed. Judith was kind and apologetic, moved us from the second floor to the third, and sprayed the room we left. The next day, there was another live roach in the new bathroom. I killed it and took a photo. Andre from the front desk came to spray while we ate downstairs, and comped one night, saying there would be no further refunds. I hadn’t asked for money back; I was just reporting the problem. He also said hotels all have roaches this time of year and showed me paperwork saying an exterminator had visited that month. At 11 pm, just as we were going to bed, I turned the lights back on to use the bathroom and a huge American roach came out of the upholstered chair beside the bed. My child was terrified, so we packed up and drove four hours home. I’m writing this at 5 am. We travel a lot for my child’s sports and have never encountered roaches at another hotel. This place clearly needs more than routine extermination. Now I have to wash everything, deep-clean my car, throw away our suitcases, and hope we don’t bring roaches home. It was a huge hassle and ruined much of our vacation. I should have left after the first sighting and used my IHG points to book across the street. I’m sharing this so others don’t go through it. One roach can mean many more, and the low room price isn’t worth all the cleaning needed to keep them out of your home.
