Having Starters nearby made it easy to enjoy the town, and I liked the friendly community. The Hatfield McCoy House Inn felt like staying in someone’s home, not being processed through a chain hotel. I could choose from rooms on the second floor, and the bed was comfortable in a quiet setting. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, so I couldn’t finish all the work I’d planned; still, the downtime got me to relax and enjoy the stay. I’d come back when traveling through.

The owners were so welcoming and ready to help with anything. This is a cozy, very clean home in a small historic town, and each room has its own feel. There’s a clean kitchenette and a cute second-floor deck for sitting outside. The Hatfield McCoy feud theme runs through the decor. I’d recommend it to anyone, and had a great stay.

The Hatfield McCoy Inn was a great place to stay this weekend, and I’m grateful they welcomed me into their home. Coming from a small town just a little bigger than Williamson, I’ve never found a better travel spot. Everyone was nice, especially the couple who run the place. Their children and nephew were awesome too. It was very clean and felt like home, with lots of great history. I’d stay again.

I never got to meet the hosts face to face, but they looked after me all the same. There was an information packet and keys waiting when I arrived, and a note the next morning with fresh fruit outside my door. They also pointed me to extra breakfast items in the dining area. Check-in and checkout were easy, and my clean room had a very comfortable bed that gave me a wonderful night’s sleep. I’d happily stay here again.

The owners were some of the nicest people I’ve met, and they were accommodating. Their concierge service was helpful for getting to know the area. I liked the peaceful, affordable, home-like feel, the gathering space, and the kitchen with continental breakfast. The rooms and halls have plenty of history about the feud country, and restaurants are close by. I also enjoyed my time here. The claim in another review about homeless people dead in the street is a made-up, delusional lie, in my view, from a jealous mind. Nothing like that has happened here. The streets are peaceful, with historic buildings, and local records can confirm it.
