The shower was easily the best we’ve had at a hotel, and the beds were super comfortable. Our room was spacious, quiet, and clean. Parking was free in a garage across the street, not the most convenient, but it worked. The front desk manager was friendly and helpful even at midnight. Breakfast wasn’t amazing, though it was free, and we didn’t get downstairs until 8:30. Definitely a great stay if you’re in the area.

The breakfast was amazing, with more options than I expected. My room was cute, comfortable, and clean, and the staff were friendly and courteous. I enjoyed the stay so much that I asked for a late checkout.

The hotel is right downtown, so we could walk to the bars for my graduation celebration. I was really happy with the room, and bringing my dog was a big plus. The staff loved him, and I even baked cookies in the oven in our suite. Brady was welcoming, enthusiastic, and answered all our questions, while Ralph, Ed, and Corey were super helpful all weekend. This is the only place we stay when visiting!

I don’t understand the high rating. After one night, I probably wouldn’t stay again even for free. The hallways and elevator often smelled of weed and cigarette smoke. There was mold in our room, and the AC/heating unit made the whole room smell awful. The dirt, grime, odor, and mold were obvious, but housekeeping hadn’t dealt with them, and the bed wasn’t made properly. Caralyn, the front desk manager, was very nice, helpful, and apologetic. She tried to make things right by moving us, but I only noticed that the second room also had cleanliness problems after accepting it. The floors are very thin. We heard every step from upstairs, and the room shook when even my tiny wife walked around in slippers, so I imagine the people below us had the same issue. The building badly needs substantial renovations, but even after that, the thin floors and lack of a bathroom fan or decent housekeeping could still lead to mold. It costs less than other hotels nearby, but it’s not worth the price. I really don’t recommend staying here.
