The Grand Majestic Lodge

I've stayed here for a few months and have never been happier. We've had a few bad experiences, and one involved a guy named Mauro, or something like that, who was rude, inconsiderate, and didn't seem to care about anyone or anything. He just bad-mouthed the others. The lady who runs the place is amazing, and one of her counterparts is great too. Kristina and Derrick are wonderful people. When Derrick and Kris came back, things changed completely. I'm grateful for a comfortable place, good staff, and great food.

I spend most of the winter here for work, and it's become a home away from home. Whenever something needs fixing, management and staff handle it quickly. They cook fresh breakfast and dinner every day, and there's lunch stuff to take to work. With the rec room and laundry on site, it's just a great place.

It's not fancy, and it's considered a "man camp," but it had everything I needed and everyone was super nice. There's laundry and a kitchen, a theater room, a fitness area, and places for games or cards. Kris is a breath of fresh air with her no-nonsense personality. Breakfast is served in the morning, cold sandwiches are available for lunch, and there's supper in the evening. The full-sized beds were clean and comfortable, there was plenty of hot water for a shower, and lots of storage. No problems at all. If I wanted or needed fancy I'd stay somewhere else. I'll be back!

The Grand Majestic is a great place to stay, with big, clean rooms and an amazing staff. Teresa and Karen go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. The two cooks are awesome and make sure nobody leaves hungry. I recommend it highly.
