Alpine Country Inn and Suites

We wanted a weekend retreat, and this adorable, affordable place was just right. It's clean, and the owners were really attentive. They even asked whether we needed help getting our motorcycle down from the truck. There are two gazebos, a pool, a fire pit, and a cozy lobby with coffee available each morning. We'll definitely be back.

I was happy to make the short drive from Lake Placid, and the rooms were just what we needed. My family first stayed here for the Ironman in 2013, and I didn't hesitate to book again when I came back this year with a bigger family. Bill and Judy are wonderful hosts, great with kids, fun to talk with, and about as friendly as they come. Highly recommend!

I stayed here a few years ago and somehow never got around to writing a review. The room was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. It's a great value. Just let them know if you'll arrive outside regular business hours.

I stayed one night before a backpacking trip in the High Peaks and had a lovely time. The place has great charm and all the amenities I needed. They upgraded me to the Olympic Suite on the day of my stay, and I wished I could have stayed longer. I'll definitely return when I'm in the area.
