John handled things right away, and the owner’s wife was cleaning rooms and brought us extra towels. We had seven guys for a bachelor weekend in two connected rooms, and there was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The beds were clean, though the bathroom was only somewhat clean. Customer service was great, and the stay was way better than we expected for the value.

After I reported a toilet seat covered in black stuff, they moved us to another room. That one had five dead cockroaches, black dirt on the counters, carpet that clearly hadn’t been vacuumed, and stained sheets and towels. The bathroom sink and toilet looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a week. This was the grossest place I’ve ever had the misfortune to stay. Budget friendly doesn’t mean disgusting. Don’t stay here.

I lasted about an hour before leaving. There were large cockroaches, and worse, bed bugs. I took off my clothes and threw them away right away so I wouldn’t bring the bugs into my home, where they can be very costly to get rid of. They refused my refund request, which was unbelievable. I got a room at the Holiday Inn a little later and it had zero pests. The most horrible experience I’ve ever had.

We’d only been there three hours, including an hour and a half at local stores getting necessities, when we found roaches. Both adjoining rooms were filthy. One had no phone or microwave, and neither tub had a plug so we could bathe the little ones. The tub in one room didn’t work either. Since it was the 4th of July weekend and our trip was last minute, this scum hole was the only room we could find. I didn’t expect five stars for the price, but I didn’t expect this. When we asked to be reimbursed so we could leave, they said three hours meant we had to pay for the whole night. They claimed management wasn’t on the premises, but as we walked out we found out he was there. Every employee was rude. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
