We loved how quiet and relaxing the house was, especially with the deer showing up every day. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. All three bedrooms have huge, very comfortable king beds. One has its own bathroom with a giant shower, while the other two share the first-floor bathroom, which has a deep tub and washer and dryer. There's a great kitchen, especially for a chef, plus a big yard, outdoor sauna, hot tub, and fire pit. What an amazing house!
We just left Cascade Mountain Chalet after another wonderful weekend celebrating birthdays and friendship. Over the past few years, my husband, friends, and I have rented several homes with Adirondack Vacation LLC: Beaver Brook Chalet, Lookout Mountain Chalet twice, and now Cascade Mountain Chalet. They’re all clean, well equipped, comfortable, and have beautiful views. I can't recommend them enough, and we'll definitely be back!
The kitchen island was great for cards and hanging out, and the hot tub was relaxing for four. The owners were very nice and checked in before, during, and after our stay. All three bedrooms have comfortable king beds, and the living room TV connected easily to WiFi for Spotify or Netflix. My only reason for holding back a fifth star is the small living room: with four of us, three had to share the couch, and with six, some people would be stuck on the wooden kitchen chairs, which only stay comfortable so long. That makes relaxing together in the evening harder. There's no view outside, but the owner told me before I booked. For four people, I'd gladly return if a place with a view wasn't available.
The first floor has heated floors, and the hot tub was wonderful. It's a short walk to the local pubs and restaurant, and about a 10-minute drive into LP. The kitchen has a big island that's perfect for games or entertaining, plus three king beds and two full bathrooms. I slept on the most comfortable bed I've ever had away from home. Loved this house.
Each bedroom has a king bed and TV, and the cable and internet reach throughout the property. There's also a gas fireplace in the living area, with a hot tub and sauna as extra perks. The whole home is new and nicely equipped, from the modern kitchen and appliances to the large granite counters and comfortable seating. It was reasonably priced and so clean it felt like my own home. We plan to try one of the owners' other eight properties soon.
