The White House Inn

The food and drinks are top notch, and everyone working here has been so welcoming and helpful. We had a short chat with Mike while he was bartending last night, and he was a real class act. I'm here now for a quick ski weekend with my college-aged son and a friend who just finished military service. This is my first stay, and I'm absolutely in love with the hotel. It has a sophisticated charm, beautiful decor, and is spotless. We're in a junior king suite with plenty of room. The beds are comfortable, and the towels and toiletries are great. I'll definitely recommend it and stay again.

The downstairs “Speak Easy” room was probably our favorite part. We sat by the fire, sang karaoke, and played pool. We also loved dinner at Clara’s, where the food was delicious. The White House House Inn was awesome, with a room that felt both spacious and cozy for our family of four. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot near Mt. Snow.

The fireplaces and sitting rooms make this historic, beautiful place feel so cozy, and the setting is lovely. The staff were friendly, and we felt right at home. Everything was clean, the beds were super comfortable, and the bathroom had been beautifully updated. I spent a lovely night at the White House Inn with my daughter and sister for my daughter's 30th birthday. This was our third time there. I'd highly recommend it for a romantic escape or a girls' getaway.

We were hoping for a healing holiday dinner after my wife's mother passed away this past year. Our hopes were high, and the disappointment was real. This was the most disappointing Thanksgiving dinner of my life, with no exaggeration. The food was abysmal. The turkey tasted oddly like tuna and seemed 3D printed. Cranberry sauce came from a can, the menu misspelled “pumpkin” as “pumkin,” and that pie was from a box. There was no ice cream, and the hot chocolate was watered down. The bill topped $1,200. Some staff were friendly, but the man who seemed to be the manager dismissed our reasonable requests. He wouldn't make a fire in the room where we were left waiting, and its door kept opening to the frigid polar vortex. They also wouldn't open the bar, so we waited 30 minutes just to order drinks.
