Courtyard by Marriott Winchester

For my short visit, the clean bed was the main thing I cared about, and that was good. I was there for two nights for a wedding. The main light in my room was out, and so was the one in a friend’s room down the hall. It was really dark. I called the desk as soon as I got in, but they just said to turn on all the lamps. I told them I had, and that the light still needed fixing, so they’d know. They said someone would come in the morning, but no one did. Paint was peeling from the ceiling by the shower, wallpaper was coming off the wall, the shower soap dispenser fell off, and the bathroom vent fan was pretty dirty.

I stay here for work trips to the area, and they haven’t let me down. The rooms are clean and well cared for, and the staff are super friendly. The food at the Bistro is always delicious, and they serve it with a smile.

We booked through Expedia at the last minute while on a road trip, and it was easy. Check-in went well, and the staff were great. The room was spacious and comfortable. Our only problem was a broken tub stopper that stayed down, so we had to put something in the drain to let the water out while showering. We told the front desk, and they offered to move us, but we were already settled in.

The facility is well kept and modernized, with excellent service. My room was clean and comfortable, the internet worked great, and there were plenty of comfort supplies. The staff were wonderful and friendly.
