I was working out of town and stayed five nights. The room was never cleaned while I was at work, the bed felt like a rock, and the place was noisy. I had to buy a memory foam topper just to sleep. The stair concrete is crumbling and feels like a serious safety hazard. They were painting without protecting guests or their belongings. The heater vent pulling air into my room wasn't covered, and after breathing paint fumes for three days I felt sick. While moving to another hotel, I was sprayed with paint. It got on my clothes and hair, and my vehicle was coated too. They should have kept guests off the floor being painted or at least warned us, and discounted the rooms during the work. I can't say whether what they're doing is legal, but the painters wore respirators while spraying paint into guests' vents. The office worker also came into my room without knocking three times. I could understand one accident, but not three. She wasn't the cleaner, and if she needed me she could have called the number on file. I would never stay here again. Other places in town are cheaper, quieter, and treat guests with respect.

The owners are great, and I usually stay here for a month at a time for work. The renovations seemed like they might improve things, but the last couple of stays have been hit or miss. In one of the new rooms, something in the bathtub was broken, the hot water barely worked or the water wouldn't work at all, the TV wasn't plugged in, and half the outlets were dead. Prices went from $790 a week to $875, then $1019, and the service didn't improve with them. I went to Elko on my day off to do laundry, and when I came back the cleaning lady was in the room. She left the blankets and pillows on the couches at the ends of the beds and didn't return. It's been five days without clean linen or anything like that. They need to get things organized.

We paid $150 a night, but the tub was covered in clumps of hair and wouldn't drain. After a long day of travel, we couldn't even freshen up. They also changed the price on us twice.

This felt like staying at a construction site. Worst experience ever. DO NOT BOOK! The automatic owner response says they’re sorry for the inconvenience and will address our concerns for future guests. It reads like a generated review response. They could have said, “Hi, how can we reimburse you?”
