For the price, this motel is an easy recommendation. My room had a full kitchenette with a two-burner stove, microwave, sink, cabinets, and a refrigerator that was bigger than what I usually see at motels. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. One of the best rooms I've had at an America's Best Value Inn & Suites in quite a while.

I slept well here because it was so quiet. My room was clean, the price was reasonable, and I had no problems during my stay on August 6. The service was very good, and the room itself was nice. The air conditioner worked fine, though in Texas heat I'd bring a fan to circulate the air better. There is a pool, but it’s currently closed due to problems, and I don’t know when it will reopen. I’d stay here again.

I found two bugs as soon as I got to my room and went straight back to the desk. The woman there said she could only move me to another room, but I didn’t feel comfortable staying after seeing the condition of the first one. I hadn’t even been there two minutes, yet she still wouldn’t refund me. Awful service and a disgusting place. Don’t stay here.

We stop here overnight on the way to the cruise ship in Galveston, and it works well for us. There’s no breakfast, but the price makes it worth returning. Dee at the front desk was friendly on the phone and in person. The hotel is older, though our room was very clean and had no smell. I wish corporate would put some money into replacing the hallway carpet and getting rid of the drab olive-green paint on the walls.
