The air conditioning worked well, but the bathroom was pretty disappointing and the shower was kind of gross. The bed wasn’t comfortable, either, and they only gave us two pillows for a king-size bed. It was okay overall.

For the price, it works as a road-trip stop or somewhere to spend a single night. The rooms were clean, the water was hot, the AC worked, and the small appliances were functional. Still, the rooms aren’t very cozy, the beds felt stiff, and the location wasn’t great. I wouldn’t want to stay more than a night or two, but there’s no need to be scared off.

When Jenny told Forest Gump to run, that’s what I’d tell you to do. The room smelled bad and was dirty. I found blood on the sheets when I pulled them back. I called the front desk for another room, but they said there were none available, which I think was a lie. They changed the sheets and brought me a can of air freshener. Around 3 a.m., I woke up with bed bugs biting me. When I mentioned it at checkout, the clerk’s first response was, “no discounts.” Go farther down the road to another motel. Run, Forest, run.

The bed covers were full of burn holes. When we first entered the room and turned on the lights, roaches were crawling everywhere. There were spider webs, mold, and broken crack pipes in the bathroom floor behind the door.
