The beds were a comfortable size, and there was no disruptive noise from the corridor. The staff were helpful, though many seemed to speak Spanish and little English. When we reported that the carpet beneath the A/C was wet, probably from condensation, they changed our room without any trouble. The pool area was fantastic, and the stay was good value. There’s a Target across the road and several restaurants nearby. I did wish the room had a balcony or ventilation window, since wet towels made it damp, and there were no hooks to hang them on. The A/C motor was noisy, especially at night when we wanted quiet. It would have been better if the motor itself were outside. Breakfast could have offered more, like vegetables, cheese or other sandwich toppings, and stronger coffee.

The front desk and breakfast staff provided good service, and the hotel is conveniently near Disney World. The room itself was poorly designed, though, and several basics didn’t work well. The air conditioner and heater were awful. I had maintenance turn off the dehumidifier, but the unit still sounded like a generator, blew air straight at my face, and was loud on its default settings. I couldn’t sleep, so I put a towel over part of it to block the airflow. The toilet flushed inconsistently. The alarm clock was extremely bright, though thankfully it had dim and off settings. One bed had blood-stained sheets. The bathroom’s translucent, opaque sliding barn door was another problem. When someone turned on the light to use the bathroom, it shone into the eyes of anyone trying to sleep.

Our private townhouse booking fell through when the property was repossessed two weeks before the trip, so we called around frantically and ended up here. It worked out for the best. The hotel was clean, nicely presented, and comfortable, and staff in every role were polite. Joshua deserves a special mention for lifting my spirits with some kind words. This is now my go-to hotel for future Orlando visits. Thank you.

The $17.00 nightly parking charge really put us off. They have their own lots, and the area isn’t congested or short on parking, so charging overnight guests feels like nickel-and-diming. The hotel is a nice place overall, off the toll road and not too far from the Disney parks area, but parking will likely make us choose somewhere else. Airbnb is looking more appealing now. The room seemed recently remodeled and looked nice, but there were issues. The frosted-glass sliding bathroom door lets light fill the whole room when someone gets up at night. Most of the showerhead was clogged, barely letting water through, and it looked older than me.
