Check-in was easy because the front desk staff were so nice. My room was clean and had everything I needed. I'd definitely come back.

We left as soon as we saw the room. The bathroom was filthy, the toilet hadn't been cleaned, and the whole place smelled like an ashtray that had never been emptied. The bedding felt waxy, as my wife put it. It looked like the room hadn't been updated since the 1970s. I wouldn't let my dogs sleep there. We'd flown into Orlando and found that the hotel we'd booked had never received our reservation. At 11 p.m., this was the only room within an hour of the airport that wasn't $2,000. They told us it was a smoking room, and we thought we could manage because we were desperate.

We'd booked a King Room, but it wasn't available when we arrived, so they put us in a room with two queen beds instead. It was a terrible stay. There was mold in the bathtub and shower, the bathroom door was filthy, and the refrigerator didn't work. It was a cold evening, so we asked for blankets. We were told they don't use blankets in Florida, and we had to make do with just the sheets. I'm trying to get a refund, though I don't think we'll manage it.

The rooms were clean, but breakfast was a letdown. The pancake machine had run out of batter, nothing else was hot, and the milk container was empty, so cereal was out too. We couldn't find an employee to help, so we went somewhere else to eat.
