La Villa Motel

The room was a good size, but the renovation work was underway and cleaning was poor. The walls were gross, and there were random spots of stuff and hair on the surfaces. The bed was rough too, with a huge dip in the mattress, like it had never been flipped or replaced. Maybe it’ll be better after the remodel, but I don’t know. I won’t be going back to find out.

I stayed here in the past, so seeing all the changes was unbelievable. The room is beautiful, smells fresh, and everything is brand new. Thank you!

We paid $170 and got a rundown, dirty place where nothing seemed to work properly. There was barely any lighting, no breakfast, and lots of things felt like they’d fall apart. The bed was broken, had cigarette burns and was covered in stains. We’d asked for a king, but got a queen, so neither of us slept well. The jetted tub was another mess. We couldn’t find its plug at first, and once we did, I couldn’t get it back out of the drain. The jets only worked maybe three times while we were there. The staff seemed nice at first, so I tried to give the place a chance. We told them we had a puppy who was being crate trained and wouldn’t be out, and they initially said we wouldn’t have to pay the fee. When they came to “fix the tub,” which they never did, they made a big deal of the puppy and charged us $50. We should’ve left then, but we wanted to relax for the 4th and didn’t know if we could get our money back. After that, the owners were rude to us and the whole stay was terrible. We travel often, and this garbage hotel is on our never-again list. NEVER EVER AGAIN! 🤮

We booked three rooms, and each was clean and well-maintained. It was a pleasant stay at a very budget-friendly motel. The owners welcomed us, and the older lady at the front desk was incredibly sweet and polite. I’d consider staying here again if I visit this town.
