Pikes Peak Paradise Bed and Breakfast

We felt welcome and safe throughout our anniversary stay, and the view was unmatched. My boyfriend and I were greeted with a smile for our first anniversary, then shown around and told we could help ourselves to cookies, sparkling water, and beer. Our room was cozy with the fireplace already on when we arrived. It had just started snowing and was about 30 degrees outside. After getting ready and going to dinner, we came back and soaked in the tub. We both fit comfortably, and the water stayed hot the whole time. The clean, comfortable bed had plenty of pillows for snuggling. We appreciated the young living amenities. Breakfast was hot and fresh: I had blueberry pancakes, and my boyfriend got avocado toast with fried egg and bacon. There were plenty of coffees, teas, creamers, and sugars to choose from. The couple who own and run the B&B were kind, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. We’d love to come back for a staycation, hopefully longer than one night, and enjoy the sunny sitting area, game room, and DVDs for a snowed-in movie night. Next time we plan to order pizza, bring our pup, and enjoy our new home away from home.

We arrived after dark, so waking up to that view was such a surprise. My fiancé had gifted me the stay for my birthday, and the hosts were gracious and kind. The steep dirt road in really wasn’t too bad, even though it was pitch black when we arrived. Our room was fantastic, clean, and comfortable, with balloons and a birthday note waiting for me. The breakfasts were delicious, and they have an amazing cook. I’d recommend it and would love to return someday.

The homemade breakfasts were a highlight, full of comforting flavor, and the cookies and other sweet treats were a lovely touch. Anne Marie and Dane were welcoming and attentive the whole time, and I enjoyed every moment of my visit. The views were stunning and the atmosphere peaceful. I’d definitely stay here again.

Save a little time to watch the birds at the many feeders around the property. The hosts are lovely, and breakfast was a treat, with a tasty main dish that changed each day, plenty of good sides, and excellent smoothies. From every window, we could see Pikes Peak. The spacious rooms were relaxing and each had its own balcony. It’s near the Springs, lots of hiking adventures, and the small town of Woodland Park with several places to eat. We had an incredible stay that went beyond what we expected, and I hope to visit again soon.
