The rooms and the whole property seem to have been recently remodeled. They look great, feel clean, and have modern fixtures, lighting, and design. Corina was especially conscientious, and the staff overall were friendly and worked hard to run the place well. My only room gripes are the usual ones for me: I prefer a harder mattress, and pillows I can prop behind me while watching TV on the bed. The hotel is right off the highway, where traffic can move fast, so be careful heading out to eat or shop. Wytheville is a nice place to visit with lots of stores and restaurants. Old town is close, but we arrived at nightfall, after the quaint shops had closed. The continental breakfast was good, though I need stronger coffee. It was Folgers, and they had great creamers, so I know the flavor’s there. I like my morning mud thick. We were traveling from Canada on motorcycles and stayed for a few nights. The rooms were clean, the service was excellent, breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly. On our second day, one of the bikes got a flat tire. The owner was super friendly and offered any help we needed to get it fixed. We felt at home here. I absolutely recommend this place.

I needed somewhere to stop for the night while traveling for work, and this hotel had what I needed: a comfortable bed, breakfast, and coffee. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the employees were very nice. We arrived late, and there was a small mix-up with the booking dates made by our company, but they worked it out.

After a long drive, I stayed here for one night the weekend after Thanksgiving, and I’m already looking forward to coming back after Christmas. The room was quiet, cozy, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel was easy to reach off the highway. Staff were warm and welcoming, and one person took time to chat and check that my room and breakfast were okay. They even offered more milk while I was serving myself. Breakfast was simple, but I enjoyed the choices: light, healthy food, coffee, and coffee to go. I meant to write down the ladies’ names so I could mention them here, but forgot. I’ll make sure I do next time. Thanks again, see you soon!

This is my third stay, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. There was a large bug in my room this time, but the front desk woman came up and helped me shoo it into the adjoining room so maintenance could take care of it the next day.
