Hilton Garden Inn Yakima Downtown

Desk service was outstanding, friendly, and informative. The rooms were clean, and the noise was about what I'd expected, maybe a little quieter. The room itself was good and the location decent. I'd give it five stars if parking weren't an added cost. I'll be back next year.

The only thing I didn't like was that my accessible room had no grab rails in the bathroom. Otherwise, I had one of the most enjoyable hotel stays I've had in a while. The property was bright and clean, and the room was comfortable. At check-in, a handwritten sign said “Aug 3 National Friendship Day,” and the clerk really did live up to it. Everyone I dealt with was excellent, especially Leo, who did a great job keeping the room in order while I was at a meeting. The restaurant was basic, but offered good choices, a full bar, and decent beer on tap. Prices weren't high, and the food was pretty good. I'd stay at the Hilton again. Good job.

The hotel is clean and the service is great, but the noise outside means we won't come back. Cars have been cruising Yakima Ave for hours on both Friday and Saturday nights. With the windows shut, we still can't hear each other or the TV over it. This makes the downtown core a hard sell for tourists, visitors, and residents.

My room was cleaned on time every day, and there's plenty of room to spread out luggage. I travel with a lot of bags and had space to put everything down. The location is very convenient.
