Red Lion Inn & Suites Yakima

The manager acknowledged that there was mold and unsanitary conditions in my room. I refused to check in, canceled the reservation, and didn't spend a single night there. Even so, my card was charged for the first night. I consider that treatment extremely unfair and dishonest. The room was in very poor condition: visible bathroom mold, dirt, a strong musty odor, a dirty sink, worn old furniture, and apparently unclean linens with visible stains. The curtains had strange splashes and stains that looked possibly like blood or some other unknown substance. It was disturbing and unpleasant, and staying there seemed concerning for my health. The property looked old, dirty, and poorly maintained as soon as I arrived. There was a broken window at the entrance covered with cardboard. The photos on Booking are completely misleading and give a false impression of the place. In reality, it was outdated and unsanitary. I strongly don't recommend staying here.

Really comfortable bed, spotless room, and friendly staff. The location made it easy to walk everywhere. A gem, and I'll definitely be back!

Don't let the name fool you. I've stayed at a Red Lion before, and this place was nothing like it. I wouldn't recommend it unless you truly have nowhere else to go. I had cash and tried to stay at a nice hotel down the street, but they wouldn't take it. I was too tired to drive all the way to a required ATM and make a deposit, so I ended up taking a room here. @redlion hotels should look into taking their name off this place.

The room was really clean, and the staff were so nice. We asked for nearby restaurant suggestions, and they gave us several addresses. They were kind and helpful. Thanks so much for the hospitality, and for having such good employees. We'll be back soon!
