Village Green Motel

It was disappointing to see a former favorite motel so run down. We planned on two nights, but ended up staying just one, and only because we had to. The rooms smelled moldy and felt worn out. Outside was worse, with splintery picnic tables and an overgrown lawn. Thankfully, the staff moved us to a better room with new, comfortable beds. The bathrooms and furniture there were still very dated. Sadly, we won’t return.

We stayed in a double room with a partition between the bedroom and living area. It was clean and comfortable, and the location is hard to beat: Parker Beach is literally across the street. A perfect setup for a summer weekend on Cape Cod, and I’d recommend it.

The front desk woman was very nice when we checked in, but I wouldn’t stay here again. The room didn’t feel clean: there were stains on the bed and pillows, the pillows had no cases, and a supposedly clean towel was lying on the shower floor. The worst part was finding sugar ants in the bed. My guest stayed in the room, but I didn’t, lol. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Plan on being woken at 5 AM by the trash trucks next door. The couches and chairs smelled musty and moldy, and the cleaning could have been better. There was soil on the bathroom curtains, crud layered on the TV remote, and several windows that didn’t work.
