Best Western Gateway Inn

There’s no elevator, chair lift, or other help for older or disabled guests trying to reach the second floor. They’d have to haul their luggage up an indoor fire stairway. Staff also need better training and should be more gracious, informed, and professional. Someone should explain this serious access problem to guests.

We stopped because this was the only room available when we needed to call it a night. The bed’s metal frame popped whenever we got in or out, and breakfast didn’t look appealing, so we left. We won’t stay there again.

We’re from Oklahoma, and both the service and the rooms were great. Those beds are so comfortable!

On our way to the beach, we used this clean hotel as a stopover. It felt safe, was in a good spot, and I’d stay again. Breakfast was the standard hot hotel spread with biscuits and gravy, and staff kept everything stocked. At check-in, the employee noticed our two rooms were on different floors and offered to move them together. We’d tried to book them that way and couldn’t, so we appreciated him catching it.
