Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest

Kyle at the front desk was wonderful and accommodating, and Gabby and Matt at the restaurant were fantastic as always. We also enjoyed the dining and accommodations, along with the friendly staff and lovely water views. This was another lovely convention stay. There were some construction and paint fumes, which was the one small downside, but I’m looking forward to seeing the improvements. I always look forward to coming back.

The lobby and entrance were absolutely gorgeous, and the rooms were spacious and clean. My 11-year-old grandson was here for three days with students from other schools around the state for an academic games competition. I can’t speak to the service, but I’d stay here if I were staying in Ann Arbor.

Ms. Donielle was excellent, with great energy and superb customer service. The room was more than I could have imagined, and the service was great too. I had an awesome experience at this Marriott and would book again. I’d suggest it to anyone.

Staff were kind to us all weekend, even with the anime convention making it a hectic time. Someone heard my group say we’d forgotten our toaster, and the front desk set one out in the lobby. I really appreciated that, but it doesn’t make the other issues easier to accept. The heater was absurdly loud, and we had to photograph several damaged spots in the room at check-in. There’s no microwave, and the fridge only stays on for about two hours at a time, so it couldn’t keep my food cold. Self-parking is $30 a day, which is beyond absurd. It would’ve been a deal breaker if parking hadn’t been covered for our weekend. The creaky elevators close so fast they nearly caught my partner’s mobility aids more times than I can count. At $150 a night, that fridge is hard to stomach.
