Hacienda Motel

We like staying here, and the rates are reasonable. It’s a pleasant, spacious, clean room with little noise, working air conditioning, and helpful blackout curtains. The location is decent, with easy access to the highway, food, shops, and coffee. There’s a microwave and refrigerator, though a coffee maker would be a nice addition. We enjoyed the pool, but it could use a makeover. Still, it beats those cheapo, not-so-cheapo high-rise hotels.

We booked two nights without seeing the place first, and what a nice surprise this mom-and-pop spot turned out to be. The owners were very friendly, and the rooms were beautiful and clean. I loved the tile floors, and the bed and side chairs were comfortable and in good shape. When we came back the second night, they’d replaced all the towels, shampoo, and soap. I’d suggest staying here, and it’s affordable too.

Loved it, 10/10. It was $80 a night for two full-sized beds, and I recommend the Hacienda Motel if you’re in Yuma for a few days. The motel is right off a main road into town, but far enough from the interstate to avoid traffic noise. There are a few good places to eat within walking distance, plus a Fry’s grocery store. The freshly renovated room had new stone flooring, plumbing fixtures, beds, and air conditioning. It was spotless, and the upbeat front desk manager was helpful, though a bit hard to hear. There was a microwave but no mini fridge in the room. I think they were planning to add one later, since the remodel was so new.

A lovely couple checked me in, and the service was great. The room had recently been renovated. It was basic, but surprisingly spacious, with a comfortable bed, and most importantly, it was clean. The location is close enough to coffee and food, while still being a little way from the interstate. Great bargain.
