Hilton Garden Inn Yuma Pivot Point

Robert Jones was a big part of our stay, and everything he cooked was delicious. You can tell he loves what he does. Danese was incredibly kind and patient, and even offered menu options that helped us feel more at home during our two-week stay. Thank you both, Danese and Robert Jones!

The beds were too soft and could use replacing, though that's my only suggestion, not even a complaint. The rooms were large and clean, with plenty of storage and space to move around. The location works really well, just off the freeway and close to downtown dining. Our room was quiet apart from the air conditioner, which was very loud and didn't sound like white noise. Service was excellent, from the front desk to the lovely woman restocking breakfast.

I had to check my bill at the desk before leaving, and caught an error, but the man there dismissed me and said nothing could be done. I had a confirmed, guaranteed rate, yet the invoice was wrong at checkout. This happened at both Hilton hotels I stayed at this week, including this one in Yuma. I need receipts for company reimbursement, so being out $9 and $10 because the hotels won't honor the reserved prices is unacceptable, even if someone else might not notice or complain. As a longtime Hilton member, I've lately found the chain less responsive to customer issues. This isn't the Hilton I remember, and I'll probably move to another chain. Poor service is the fastest way to ruin a company.

The breakfast was very nice, and the hotel itself is beautiful and well located. The county park is just a minute's walk away, the city canal runs along the edge, and the convention center is across the parking lot.
