Royal Motor Inn

We were there for two weeks, and the housekeeping staff were excellent. The room was older but nicely equipped and kept scrupulously clean. New management seems to be working hard to keep customers happy, and the location is close to everything. The farm workers were usually away and quiet when they were around, so don't let that put you off. We were there a lot and saw no evidence of illegal activity.

The room was fine, no complaints, and the area and people were cool. There’s a fun trailer park behind the place that’s good for a bit of fun. The pool was open, and no one was around to get on your case about the dress code. Only complaint, no room service, lol.

The tap water was brown, the tub wouldn't drain, and the floor had water damage. There were dirty towels, a bad smell in the room, noise all night, and a dog barking constantly. Drug deals were going on in the rooms beside me all night, and the room locks didn't work. Someone had broken into the room the night before. In the morning I couldn't get my key deposit back because the front desk didn't open until 10 AM, and I wasn't about to wait that long. They can keep it. I'm definitely never coming back.

The bathroom needed a serious upgrade, and even turning on the water was difficult. The fan above the bed was off balance and kept hitting the ceiling. The door had two locks, but one had been broken into, so I didn't feel safe. Someone had just finished doing crack in the carpet and bathroom. I should've checked out, but I was too tired to keep searching for another room.
