Best Western Zachary Inn

The breakfast was a highlight, real eggs instead of powdered ones, plus buttery biscuits. Tanisha and the rest of the staff were so friendly and helpful. When they heard someone in our group had a birthday, every staff member wished them a happy birthday. We’ll come back because of how welcoming everyone was.

The breakfast was really nice, and the room eventually cools down around midnight. Until then, after working 12 hours in scorching heat, we come back to a hotter room because housekeeping turns off the AC while we're out. We've been here six days, and I've complained three times, though I didn't feel like bringing it up on the other days. They don't seem to care. The front desk woman looked annoyed when I raised it, basically said “oh well, sorry,” then asked when I was checking out. What does that have to do with the room being hot? We sleep on top of the blankets until the room cools. I bet they'd care if we smoked in the room and wanted $500. This is sad. If you're staying more than one night, pick another hotel.

I come to Zachary regularly, and the comfortable, clean rooms and welcoming staff are why I keep choosing Best Western. I appreciate you all so much.

I've stayed at this hotel for more than 20 years, so I was surprised by how bad this visit was. The room had an odor, and I had to use Lysol and other scents to cover it up. The TV kept showing no signal because the cables weren't connected; my friend fixed that. The front desk worker was polite but didn't know how to sort it out. On the second night there were no towels. I'd asked housekeeping during rounds, and they said they'd bring some back. When I returned Saturday night, there still wasn't a single towel. The front desk woman was sarcastic about it. I'm very upset and not pleased with the stay.
