Green House Hostel

My girlfriend and I, visiting from Berlin, stayed here in mid-March. It felt calm, friendly, and safe, with all the features we needed and a few extras. Loved the place and the people.

We spent a few days at the hostel in March and had a really nice stay. The owners were lovely, and breakfast was very good, with homemade Marmelade and coffee. The rooms were simple but had what we needed. I’d recommend staying here.

The couple running the hostel are super friendly. They even met us at the truck station when we arrived at night, without us needing to ask. It’s a little outside the village centre, about a ten-minute walk, and there’s a cute cat. In winter, they use the fireplace to warm the common area. It’s rustic, as you’d expect from budget accommodation in Cabo Polonio, and they’ve made a real effort to make it comfortable. Hot water works great and there’s electricity all day, though the outlets are only in the common room. The main drawback is how small the sleeping quarters are, including the private en suite room.

Green House is so welcoming, it kind of feels like home. Best hostel ever! Thanks for the great memories, Flor, Lucas, Fernanda, Matteo, etc ❤️❤️❤️
