Casa Copada

A good price, and a neat, clean, safe place to unwind after a long workday or meet interesting people. It’s a mixed hostel, and guests are almost always respectful. There’s a full kitchen, several shared bathrooms, laundry facilities, a terrace, and a play area. Quiet hours are generally respected. Booking ahead is always a good idea.

I spent two weeks traveling solo at Hostel Casa Copada at the end of March, and had an excellent stay. The volunteers, Iñaki, Valentín, and Pablo, were fantastic. They made a great atmosphere, paid attention to everyone, and did what they could to help you feel at ease. Thanks to them, it was easy to feel at home. The place is well maintained and cleaned often, which I appreciated on a longer stay. The rooms are spacious and have plenty of storage for your things. I’d have liked a better-equipped kitchen, since some of the utensils are quite old. The stairs up to the rooftop can also be a little dangerous, so be careful. I’d definitely recommend it, especially for solo travelers looking for a comfortable place with a great atmosphere.

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and we met lots of wonderful people there. The hostel is in a great location and had everything we needed, including a kitchen, plenty of bathrooms, a common room, a dining area, and quiet rooms. The beds were a bit hard and there weren’t enough large wardrobes for backpacks, but we still felt very safe and comfortable. We had the best time and are grateful for our stay. :)

The rooms were spotless, and the place felt very clean throughout. What really stood out, though, was how people shared the hostel without crowding each other. The staff and, generally, the other guests had a great sense of tact. Since arriving, I’ve enjoyed every day here. I’ve often thought privacy is hard to come by in a communal space, but the atmosphere here makes it possible to be together without intruding. I’d recommend it without hesitation 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
