The only real drawback was that the lockers were small and made noise when opened. Still, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the location was great. They also offer fast, cheap laundry service. Excellent hostel, and I’d stay again.

After a long trip around South America, this was a very good place to enjoy Montevideo. It’s a small but excellent hostel in a good, fairly quiet spot, with very friendly and helpful staff.

Our room was ready early, and they let us check in ahead of time. It’s a cute little hostel with a cosy shared area and lovely staff. A really cool experience 😊

The hostel itself is about what you’d expect for the price, but the people are nice and the location is solid. I made friends right away with people at the bus stop down the road, and they took me out for a night on the town. There are good restaurants nearby and a grocery store close by, though I wasn’t keen on having to give them my passport number when I bought something. Breakfast was decent, but costs a little extra.

I had a great time here and would highly recommend the hostel. Tom and the staff are great people, and it’s easy to have fun here.
