The staff were especially kind and always willing to help, and there’s a small breakfast included. The hotel could use some renovation, but it worked fine for our two-night stay. Simple, pleasant, and good enough for a short visit.

The little rooftop is worth a visit for the view across Montevideo, and there’s coffee with small pastries in the morning. We stayed in a charming old building with welcoming staff. The room felt a bit old-fashioned, but it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I’d definitely come back when I’m in Montevideo again.

The beds were comfortable, there was hot water, and we liked our stay a lot. It’s near the old town, in a historic building that still has all the features of an older place. It isn’t luxurious, but that suited us.

A good deal for the money and in a very convenient location. The building is worn, but the essentials worked: Wi-Fi, TV, hot water, and comfortable mattresses.

The rooftop has lovely views, and the elevator is quite an experience. At first the location seemed a little sketchy, but it’s actually very well situated. Old Montevideo can look a bit worrying at first, though we never felt unsafe. The rooms are dated and worn, or you could call it character; we went with that and were happy.
