Palm Beach Plaza Hotel

The listing on booking calls this a four-star place, but it felt like two stars and wasn’t what was advertised. My room was dirty, and the sheets had blood and food stains, with hair on both the sheets and pillow. I stayed just the first night because it was already close to midnight. I asked for a refund, but even a week after checkout I still hadn’t heard back.

The rooms were old and dirty, and the breakfast looked terrible too. Better off going to the bakery nearby.

We only stayed a short time, but really enjoyed it. There’s plenty of room even with big suitcases, and the beds are comfortable. The interior is simple, modern, and well maintained. It’s also good value for money. The location is lovely, with an easy walk to the beach and supermarkets, restaurants, and coffee shops nearby. There are only four rooms per floor, so there wasn’t much noise from neighbors, and the street was quiet too.

The staff were friendly and willing to help, and I thought the hotel was good value. The location is great, and while the rooms are small, they seemed fine for the price. Breakfast isn’t included and costs 10 USD. We skipped it and went for brunch at a really nice coffee shop on the corner. The heater and AC weren’t working in our room. Since it was winter and we like cold weather, we were fine sleeping with the windows open. They brought a heater for the other room we had, and that one worked perfectly. I wouldn’t stay in summer if the AC still isn’t working.
