A comfortable room with a king size bed and a tasty, welcoming breakfast made this a nice place to stay. The staff were kind and helpful, and the main sights in Montevideo are within walking distance. I'd stay here again.

My room had plenty of space and was comfortable, and the location made getting around easy. For the price, it was really good value. A solid base if you want convenience without spending too much.

We spent a couple of days at Hotel Puerto Mercado while waiting for our car to come off the ship. Being so close to the port made it a perfect fit for that. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. If you're in the same situation, I'd recommend it.

The rooms were okay, with hot water, and the staff were friendly. The location puts you right in the tourist port area, which is convenient, though restaurants there tend to overcharge. There are probably better places to stay. I wouldn't count on the breakfast for 220 a day. You have to pay for every day upfront, and it seems like a cheap way for them to make more money. A few boiled eggs, cakes, and a small quiche don't feel like a full breakfast at that price.

The room was decent and mostly clean, but breakfast wasn't included in my booking. The platform had listed a buffet breakfast, which was one of the main reasons I picked the hotel. What I got was a stale continental breakfast, so I went to a cafe instead.
