I've spent a lot of time here and really love the place. It's a great hostel, and the staff are excellent. People come here to enjoy their vacation, and the big terrace is perfect for parties. The staff are always helpful with transport information too. If I had the choice of a five-star hotel in Montevideo, I'd still turn it down and stay at willy fog. You guys are part of my life. God bless you, willy fog.

There were six of us, and we'd booked a six-bed dorm, but when we arrived the guy said only beds in a 17-bed dorm were available. Some people didn't even get beds and had to sleep on air mattresses or the sofas at reception. The whole place was dirty, including the dorm, sheets, shower and bathroom. When we pointed out the dirty sheets, the guy in charge said, "It's a hostel, it's normal that it's dirty!" Okay. I wouldn't go back or recommend it.

A good budget option for backpackers, with nice areas to relax and hang out. There's Wi-Fi and two computers you can use for free. The kitchen and bathrooms are average.
