Getting around is easy from here: buses stop right outside or just steps away for trips into the city of Salto, and the international bus terminal is nearby too. It's close to the hot springs and busy shops. The service and customer care are excellent. Perfect for a vacation, highly recommended.

We have stayed here for quite a while and booked more than a month and a half ahead for the Nostalgia Night events. Even so, we were put in a shoebox-sized room, with no windows in either the bedroom or bathroom. The bathroom's tiny extractor fan smelled like something was burning when switched on. They charged us the usual rate for a large room. When we complained, they said they were fully booked and could move us at the earliest on Monday the 26th, although we were leaving Tuesday the 27th at noon. As long-time customers who booked so far in advance, we should at least have been told the room was very small and had no ventilation. Charging the regular room price felt unfair. Disappointing.

We come every year because the location is perfect and the hotel and breakfast restaurant staff always welcome us so warmly. The rooms aren't anything special and could use some maintenance, but the people working there are excellent, friendly, and kind.

The staff provided excellent service. It's a very nice, clean, and comfortable place.
