Hotel Trinidad is a clean, low-cost, hostel-like place just one block from the town’s central plaza, so you can easily walk around town. The staff are helpful, and there’s a kitchen guests can share. Some rooms are shared occupancy, with bathrooms outside the rooms in a shared area. Trinidad itself is a wonderful town, safe, with good stores for most things you need. Just outside town there’s an animal park, and across the village there’s a river park for swimming and water activities. In the village, the large park has a soccer stadium, pond, tennis and racquetball or handball courts, a playground, a bike track, and plenty more.

The pool was fantastic, with clean water, and the setting was peaceful and well located. The owners were incredibly kind and attentive, and the staff were always available too. I’d definitely come back.

The hotel is in a great central spot, and the rooms are well equipped and in good shape. The staff are fantastic. Highly recommend it.

The woman who works there is very friendly, and the room served its purpose well. It was tidy and very clean, right next to a park. A little water came in through the window, and I found there wasn’t anywhere to hang towels. That was the only downside.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the surprisingly good-quality sheets made it even easier to rest well. The air conditioning was quiet and effective, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature throughout the stay. The shower was another highlight, with strong water pressure and a steady temperature. Hotel Trinidad may not make much of an impression when you first arrive, but the room completely changed that for me. The thoughtful details made for a relaxing, comfortable stay at a great value.
