TM Hotel

For residents, a suite cost 400,000 soums when I wrote this. The rate is low, and the soft bed and recent renovations were a pleasant surprise. The rest felt in line with the price, though there’s still room to improve. Staff need to learn more about hotel service.

The rooms were neat, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We managed to get our questions answered with a little English and some gestures, and reception stays open around the clock. There’s a small supermarket right next door. We were touring Uzbekistan as a couple. The hotel is fairly central, with the train station, bus station, and market each about a 15-20 minute walk away. Breakfast on the fourth floor is quite basic. The pool is available in the mornings and evenings but closed in the afternoon, and the sauna only operates in winter. There’s no elevator.

We were happy with the value for money. It’s a clean, cozy place with friendly staff, a convenient location, and a good breakfast.

The service is just average, and the price feels a little high for what you get. It’s a mid-range hotel, but the furniture is arranged awkwardly. Even though the rooms are new, they already look a bit dated.
