Being inside Ichan Kala made it easy to explore the ancient city all day and return to the hotel for a break. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy, and the shared spaces were spotless. The rooftop terrace was superb for watching sunrise and sunset. Breakfast was served rather than buffet style, which made sense in the slow season when there were only two other guests. There was plenty to eat, and it was delicious. Wi-Fi was good, and the owner and staff were pleasant. The front desk could use a bit more charisma, though maybe that’s just cultural. They gave us two bottles of water each day, but a water station would have been nice. The hotel was great, 10/10, and I’d definitely recommend Khans Palace. Thank you!

I’d suggest booking one of the new rooms, especially if you’re used to 5* hotels. The staff can also set up transfers ahead of time, and you can pay by credit card. There’s a rooftop where you can admire Khiva. It’s a small boutique hotel, about a five minute walk from the city center.

The restaurant area was lovely, and breakfast was a pleasant start to the day. There’s also a great terrace with a view. The hotel was newly built and very clean, in a spot inside the castle that’s close to everything. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, answering our questions right away. If you go to Hiva, you should definitely stay here.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet had lots of tasty vegetarian choices. The location couldn’t be better. Big thanks to Babur for the helpful local tips, they made our trip even better.

The terrace had a spectacular view, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. Staff were super friendly and professional. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of all the historic sites in Old City KHIVA. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it.
