We came back to Abdulla guest house for a second stay, and Kamel and his family made us feel so welcome again. They put real care into looking after visitors. The apartment inside the magnificent Itchan Qalaa is spotless and cozy, with the historical monuments close by, and it works well for solo travelers or families. We loved the homemade traditional breakfast, with all its Uzbek flavors. Thanks again for having us, and for the amazing New Year's Eve dinner. I'd recommend Abdulla guest house to anyone visiting Khiva, and hope we can return soon.

We were there during Ramadan, and our hosts thoughtfully prepared sahur for us. They were very kind and attentive throughout. The room was clean and neatly arranged, and the hotel's central location made it perfect for exploring the city.

We only popped in for snacks, but the hosts were so warm and welcoming. The samsa was probably the best, and so were the pastry and pomegranate juice. They even let us take in the lovely old city view from their rooftop, just above the restaurant, in their family home.

Good value, and the breakfast is really tasty. I'd order dinner cooked at the guest house too, it was quite good. The restaurants in the old town are all overpriced rubbish.
