The rooms, bathrooms, and shared spaces at Hotel Atlas were spotless, and the whole place felt fresh and well cared for. I felt comfortable right away, thanks especially to MUKHSINA at reception, who greeted me warmly and was always ready to help. The night receptionist was attentive when I needed help late, too. It was a lovely stay in Margilan, with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

We’d gladly stay here again on our next trip to Margilan. The room was spacious and clean, with a large bathroom, air conditioning, and a long list of useful things: TV, kettle, cups, plates, bottled water, snacks, fridge, hairdryer, disposable toothbrushes, coffee, tea, and cotton buds. The hotel is also close to Yodgorlik Silk Factory. Staff were kind and spoke excellent English. One receptionist arranged breakfast even though we were an hour late, and another helped set up taxis and a trip to textile shops. One of our best hotel stays in Uzbekistan.

We found the staff less helpful than at other places we stayed in Uzbekistan, and the hotel felt pretty average compared with the five hotels we visited in other Uzbek cities. You can clearly hear a neighbor’s TV because there’s a hole in the wall where the television cables connect. People say this is one of Margilon’s best hotels, which makes us wonder about the others.
