The price was a little high, $40 for a twin, given the location: an unpaved road and a 30-minute walk from the train station. It was fairly clean and comfy. It’s a family-run hotel, with a lovely grandmother and a happy little child.
Overpricing seems almost unavoidable when tourists in this country are required to register at a hotel. The room was comfortable and had a bathroom.
I absolutely wouldn’t stay in that old Soviet-era hotel.
