The location is great, and I had a great time staying there. The rooms could use an upgrade. There wasn't an iron, tea, sugar, or even a kettle in the room, and the bathrooms should be updated with muslim showers.

The breakfast was wonderful, and the staff gave excellent service. Lupine Travel hosted us at this hotel during our 5 Stans Tour. We had to switch rooms because the AC wasn't working. Registan Square is a 10-minute walk away, and there's a mini Mart 5 minutes away. There's also a great kebab restaurant next door.

There were live ants and dead ones on the floor in our room, plus a piece of gum somewhere else on the ground as garnish. The hotel did refund all our money and helped us find another hotel, so I'm giving it two stars.

Hotel Asia Samarkand is in a perfect spot near Samarakand's historical sights. The breakfast is fresh and delicious, served as a set menu rather than a buffet, and you can ask for more. Our cozy room had everything we needed, with soft bedding and pillows that made for a good rest. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It's clean and well located, but the rooms feel dated and the service is poor. I don't think it deserves its 4 stars.
