The guest room design is the main downside. All the toilet fans are switched on and off together, so if they're off, the toilets smell bad. That needs fixing. Otherwise, things were good. The intercity bus station is right below the hotel, and the entrance is beside the restaurant, with the front desk in the waiting room. The restaurant downstairs has lots of tasty food and draws many locals at night. It's quiet later on and parking is convenient.
We were cycling and arrived late, so we wanted somewhere to stay before riding into Shahrisabz the next day. It worked well for that, and there's a nice restaurant and an ice cream store nearby.
The rooms were clean and a good size, and the dining was very good, with tasty food and plenty of choices. We stayed two nights with two friends, and what really made the place excellent was the help from the young manager Sarvar. We asked for help with our onward travel plans, and he cheerfully sorted it out. Thanks, Sarvar, from Peter, Marcus and Mark.
