Doubletree By Hilton Tashkent

The team made the strongest impression on me. Everyone was polite, attentive, quick to respond, and willing to help. It felt like their training covered both Hilton Honors standards and Eastern hospitality. I was there recently for the first time as a Hilton Honors Gold Member, only a couple of weeks after the hotel opened. My room was well appointed, and breakfast had a good selection. The interior feels fresh, with Eastern touches and a subtle Moroccan influence. I also liked the 12th-floor outdoor pool and its city view, plus the small, pleasant Executive Lounge. On the ground floor, Maroon restaurant, created by restaurateur Arkady Novikov, adds another strong dining option. I didn’t get a chance to see the SPA with its hammam and cold room, so that gives me a reason to return. I hope the DoubleTree by Hilton Tashkent team keeps up this level of service and attention. With this approach, I’m confident the hotel will become one of the city’s most sought-after places to stay.

There’s one drawback: even with a large pool, space for loungers is very limited, maybe 5-6 at most. Still, this was simply magical, with a stylish hotel, thoughtful details, very responsive staff, and excellent service.

I’ve only been to this new hotel once, for an event, and the staff, including reception, were good. I haven’t had breakfast myself yet, though I’ve offered it to my guests and it just hasn’t worked out so far. They invite me to come for breakfast, and I wouldn’t mind.
