Grand Art Premium Hotel

Sardor took me on a day tour to the mountains. He speaks very good English and was helpful and polite. He had a nice car and is an excellent driver. I highly recommend him for tours in and around Tashkent.

We picked this hotel for its convenient position between the railway station and airport. Our rooms were spacious and relatively clean. We booked a triple room and asked for a mattress cover to join the twin beds, but it hadn't been arranged when we arrived. Breakfast was poor, with little healthy food to choose from. The coffee was tasteless, the teapot was broken, there was no butter for the bread, and the milk wasn't refrigerated. Management should rethink the breakfast and offer more healthy food and drinks.

We are a travel agent from India, and an unauthorized booking went through our TBO portal via Expedia. The hotel is refusing a refund under its non-refundable policy, even though the booking was fraudulent. The information we've received has conflicted: sometimes we were told the guest checked in, and at other times that there was no check-in. If someone did check in using this booking, please direct them to Expedia immediately. This was entirely unauthorized, and it isn't ethical to take advantage of the situation or ignore booking partners. The booking was for 16 nights. We request immediate action to cancel it and issue a refund. If a guest checked in, they should be questioned. This is a matter of the hotel's credibility.

After our first week, we were offered a room change and got a bigger, more convenient suite for the same price. The reception staff were also kind enough to reimburse the fee I was charged when I withdrew money from an ATM to pay for our stay. It was a very pleasant gesture. The hotel was cozy and comfortable, and the staff were always ready to help. I came away with only positive impressions and can recommend the Grand Art Hotel for a family visit.
