The hotel is close to the airport and train station, although there aren’t really any shops or restaurants nearby. They also arranged an airport pickup for $5 and let us leave our luggage there for a few hours, as we’d requested earlier. Our room impressed us. It was spacious and set up for three people, with a humongous double bed. The bathroom was great, with plenty of towels and toiletries. The bath area had a transparent sliding door, and the toilet worked with an automatic sensor. Breakfast was a buffet on the top floor, with a decent range of options. The WiFi was among the best we used during our trip to Uzbekistan.

The room had fun decor and modern features, including a bidet toilet seat, shower, and mini fridge. Breakfast was an excellent buffet, served on a really nice roof terrace. It’s very convenient for the airport and South Tashkent train station. The walls seemed a bit thin, though, and between traffic and neighbouring rooms, it might be hard for a light sleeper.

The lobby was welcoming, and our rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were nice, called taxis when we needed them, and let us check in early. There are also various souvenirs for sale at reception. We had a great stay at Hon Saroy.

The floor, ceiling, and wall motifs and decor are so excessive that the whole room feels overwhelming. Although the room is big, too many unnecessary items make it look cramped. The bathroom is cluttered with unnecessary things as well, and its floor sits higher than the room floor.

You can order breakfast ahead of time and have it in your room or out in the roof garden, which has a beautiful view. There’s also a small swimming pool and sauna. The hotel is lovely, the air-conditioned rooms and bathrooms are nice, and the staff are polite.
