We stayed just one night, and it was a very pleasant visit. The traditional decor inside the hotel was lovely, and our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. The staff were friendly and helpful, including with arranging a taxi.

I was the first guest at this newly opened hotel, and everything felt fresh, clean, and well cared for. The design is beautiful, mixing a classic look with modern comfort. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. The receptionist spoke excellent English and clearly explained the registration requirement for foreigners staying in Uzbekistan for more than 3 days, which I really appreciated. We had a fantastic stay, with clean rooms and warm, helpful service. Highly recommend.

The hotel’s central spot is quiet, with a supermarket just around the corner, and breakfast was delicious, high quality, and full of choice. The design is gorgeous and practical, with lots of thoughtful details. I heard the owners created it themselves, without designers. The hotel is new, and it shows. Our room was spotless, and the cleaning was great. The reception team were incredibly helpful, especially Muzaffar, who went above and beyond to help us sort out a few little problems outside the hotel stay. We loved staying at Old Tashkent Heritage, and the staff were impeccable.

The room had everything I needed, was comfortable and very clean, and I wasn’t bothered by noise. The hotel’s decor is distinctive and traditional. The reception staff were very kind and spoke English perfectly. I’d definitely book here again if I return to Tashkent💕

The hotel is beautiful and clean, in a lovely, walkable area. Our room was a decent size and had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The AC worked well, and although the shower pressure wasn’t very strong, there was plenty of hot water. Slippers and toothbrushes were provided. Those were the good parts, but this was by far the worst hotel of our Uzbekistan trip, and I absolutely wouldn’t return. At 7am, loud hammering and drilling woke us up. It seemed to be construction at the house next door, but it sounded as if it was inside the hotel. We even wondered if they were adding another floor or room. It ruined our one day to rest, and this should have been clearly mentioned when booking. Breakfast was mediocre. There were lots of options, but nothing delicious or memorable. The staff were extremely unfriendly and disappointing. We greeted each cleaning lady and none replied. The breakfast staff were practically absent. One employee went between the kitchen and dining room with food, but wasn’t available to help with the coffee machine. At other hotels, someone had shown us how to use the machine, especially how to add milk. When I finally got her attention, she seemed cold and annoyed. At check-in, nobody helped with our luggage. My mother, who is older, and I carried it up the front steps ourselves. They have cameras and could see us arrive. We were given a quick hello and asked for our passports, with no welcome. We were told the room would be ready in 40 minutes, but it took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. They didn’t mention breakfast, so I had to ask. They didn’t greet us during the stay either. When I returned the key card, the young man at the desk was on his phone. I waited several seconds before saying hello to get his attention. He took the card, said goodbye, and went straight back to his phone. He didn’t come out from behind the desk to help with luggage, open the door, or ask if we needed a taxi. We waited in the lobby for a few minutes, and when we left there was still no acknowledgement or greeting. To respond to the owner: yes, we were offered early check-in, but staff clearly said 40 minutes. Waiting wasn’t a problem, but knowing it would take longer would have helped us plan our day. How can you know what staff told us if you weren’t there? We also shouldn’t have to ask for help with luggage. You have cameras covering outside and the lobby, and professionals notice when guests arrive. We did tell a staff member in the morning, on our way to breakfast, about the noise. He said he would check next door, but by then we were already awake. Your response doesn’t address the cleaning staff’s rudeness or the employee on his phone while we checked out, without even saying goodbye. The hotel is pretty, but the staff need better training. Most guests seemed to be locals, Central Asians, or Russians, and perhaps the hotel suits them better, since the reviews suggest they’re pleased. I can only speak to our own experience. Every other hotel we stayed at in Uzbekistan, 5 in total, was beautiful, but the service was the best part. The staff there were friendly, welcoming, and professional. This hotel needs to hire more professional staff.
