Amirun Hotel

The rooms were clean and tidy, and getting to the airport took just 8 minutes by taxi. The hotel is good for the affordable price. Breakfast was reasonable too, though I've had better in Uzbekistan.

After our flight was delayed by 12 hours, the airline put us up here, which is handy since it's close to the airport. The staff were helpful with arranging meals and service was prompt. We only ate the meals provided, so I can't speak to the choices or variety. Our room was basic but did the job, with a kettle, water, and tea and coffee sachets. A decent spot for one night or for a solo traveller.

The rooms were okay and breakfast was average. The location works well for the airport, but it's terrible if you need to get to the town centre.

My professor was left waiting at the train station for an hour and a half because the hotel driver went to the airport instead. I'd sent the pick-up time and location on WhatsApp, along with the train ticket details, so I was deeply disappointed by this mistake, or perhaps a language barrier. Afterward, the hotel asked for another USD 10 on top of the agreed USD 30 pick-up fee. That was excessively high, about 20 times the fare shown by the YandexGo App. I understand hotel services can cost more, but the pricing and the aggressive attitude were very disappointing and affected how I see the hotel. This behavior isn't acceptable. I hope the feedback leads to better service for future guests.
