The staff were so kind and helpful, especially Ibrahim, who was warm and kept checking that we were comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel is also near food stalls and the market, so it was easy to find local food. The place was clean and cosy, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The building feels worn and could use some care, but the hotel is still good. My room was completely clean, the air conditioning worked fine, and the bed was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was okay too.

The next morning at about 8:45, the taxi driver showed up in my room and pushed me awake in bed. He'd gone to the front desk, asked for my room number and key, and they gave them to him, even though I'd told the staff not to let him upstairs. They had promised there'd be no issue. The day before, I'd argued with the driver because he tried to scam me for 140 USD and got angry. I told him no and said he could come back the next day to discuss it. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. I've travelled to many countries and never had anything like it. It's dangerous and there's no security if strangers can get into your room. Imagine being a woman travelling alone or having kids here. This hotel will let any man into your room if he asks. Don't stay here. Use AirBnB or a Western hotel chain.

We were two couples and had booked a two-bedroom apartment. Once we saw how huge it was, we asked if we could have another room instead. The staff were very helpful and offered us the other room options they had. It's a nice hotel in the centre, with a few attractions within walking distance if you're able to walk.
