There was no electric kettle, and the restaurant wasn't open 24/7, so getting tea or coffee whenever you wanted was difficult. That's especially inconvenient for Indian and Middle Eastern tourists.

The rooms felt a little small, but they're enough if you're only here for a few days. The location is ideal for staying in Dushanbe, with good places to eat just a short walk away and a supermarket nearby. Everyone was very welcoming.

The hotel is a bit away from central Tashkent, though it's still easy to reach most places by taxi. You can hail passing cars as taxis, or call an official one, and those aren't too expensive. The metro is very close and works well. It's a large hotel that suits families, with decent rooms that are a little dated, a good entrance and lobby, and excellent staff. There's also storage available after checkout if you need it.

There's a big supermarket and the stadium nearby, and the gardens are well kept. Inside, the lobby is expansive and the staff are courteous. The rooms are upscale and well equipped with amenities. Breakfast is buffet only, with a range of local delicacies. The one drawback is that there's no room service.
