The Shahar Hotel

My room and bathroom were both spacious, and the staff were kind and helpful. They answered every question I had, and none of my questions seemed like too much trouble. After starting my travels in Uzbekistan here, I felt I couldn’t have asked for a better beginning. Coming from Western Europe, I was struck right away by the design and how special the hotel felt. Big thumbs up to the team.

They even served me breakfast early before my morning flight, and the place was beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. My room did get uncomfortably warm overnight even though it was cold outside, but there’s air conditioning to deal with that.

We chose The Shahar for our last day in the country and were glad we did. The oriental style is lovely, and it’s set away from the city’s hustle and bustle. Ekaterina, the manager on duty, was kind and friendly, and Rustom at the desk was a big help too. We definitely recommend staying here when visiting Tashkent.

I left my phone charger in the room and asked if they could send it by delivery. They responded right away and got it to me. The healthy breakfast was filling, too. I’d love to stay here again with friends or family. It really feels like being a prince or princess in a mini palace. Thank you so much ❤🙏.
